Josh.ai: Meet the Team — Mariana 🆕
At Josh.ai, I love that the smart home experience goes beyond cool tech, it’s about making life easier and feeling connected to the spaces we live in. That’s why I’m excited to join the Support team, where I get to help people get the most out of their systems and actually enjoy what their smart home can do. I’m looking forward to learning from our customers, solving real problems, and being part of the team that makes powerful technology feel simple and enjoyable to use.
What do you do at Josh? I’m part of the Support team as a level one support agent. I get to help customers get the most out of their Josh.ai systems by working with the tech installers to get Josh running as smoothly as possible.
Where are you from originally? Denver, Colorado! So I’m extra excited to be joining a Denver-based team.
What do you love about the smart home? I love how a smart home can fit different lifestyles. It’s cool to see tech go beyond just “features” and actually make everyday living easier, safer, and way more fun.
What are you most excited about over the next few years? I’m excited to grow with the team and really understand the ins and outs of smart home tech from real-world experience. There’s so much to learn here, and I love the idea of getting better every day while being part of a company that’s pushing the industry forward.

What do you do for fun? I love exploring new coffee shops/restaurants, spending time with my dog or at the beach, and playing volleyball or tennis whenever I get the chance. Anything that gets me outside and moving is always a good time.
If you could go anywhere, where would it be? I’d probably want to go back to Chile, I miss the food, the culture, the people. I want to explore more of it and go to different places and cities!
Favorite restaurant in the world? Still hunting for the perfect answer, but right now my favorite place that I recently discovered is "H Brothers" in Escondido, CA.
Favorite IoT / smart home product? Smart lighting, it’s crazy how much lighting changes the mood of a space, and it’s one of the easiest ways to make a home feel seriously intelligent.
What is your favorite feature of Josh? Natural voice control. The fact that you can speak casually and Josh just gets it makes smart homes feel more human.
Favorite books / reading material / websites? I’m into practical reads, anything that helps me learn a new skill, stay curious about tech, or manage life better. I’m usually bouncing between tech articles, personal finance content, and anything that helps me in everyday life.
