Recapping Josh.ai at CEDIA 2026: One Last Celebration in Denver
CEDIA Expo's final year in Denver gave the Josh.ai team plenty to celebrate. We welcomed the industry to our hometown, shared a look at what is next for home intelligence, and spent the week connecting with the people who bring Josh into homes every day. From conversations at the booth to time together around the city, this year's show was a chance to catch up, exchange ideas, and make one more set of CEDIA memories in Denver.

Bringing Our Community Together
Before the show floor opened, we welcomed dealers, reps, and industry friends to The Rally Hotel for our VIP event. The evening offered a chance to step away from show preparations, enjoy a drink, and spend time with the people behind our growing community. It was our opportunity to say thank you for their support and the work they do throughout the year.
The week also brought a little Josh spirit outside the convention center. Our breakfast burrito gathering gave attendees another reason to stop by and start the morning with the team. Between the booth, the events, and those more casual moments, there were plenty of opportunities to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones.
A Closer Look at Home Intelligence
At the Josh booth, the demo experience brought together AI X OS, Josh Edge, and a preview of ProStudio. Visitors could explore the platform from both sides: how a homeowner interacts with their space and how an integrator creates the experience behind it.
AI X OS connects voice, touch, and text control, while Josh Edge brings physical buttons and voice commands into a handheld remote. ProStudio extends the story to installation, with tools designed to help dealers program and support more personalized homes.
The ProStudio announcement introduced AI-assisted Automations and expanded integration capabilities through Nimble DevSuite+. Automations was previewed at CEDIA with availability planned for later this year; Nimble DevSuite+ is also planned for a staged rollout later this year.
Connecting Across the Industry
Partnerships remain central to what Josh.ai can bring to a home. This year's CEDIA announcements expanded that conversation across entertainment, climate, shades, access control, and more, giving dealers new possibilities to consider for their projects.
Conversations About What's Next
Beyond the booth, the Josh.ai team joined conversations about how AI is shaping the connected home:
- Ryan explored the business opportunity for integrators in “The Business of AI: Monetizing Intelligence in the Luxury Home”
- Alex discussed AI’s role in home systems in “When Smart Homes Get Smarter: AI Enters the Rack” as well as the shift toward more intuitive experiences in “The Evolution of Home Control: From Simply Smart to Truly Intelligent Living”
- Scotty addressed camera intelligence and privacy in “Edge AI Cameras with Privacy"
The week also brought recognition for AI X OS, which won a 2026 CE Pro BEST Product award in the Best User-Facing App/UI category, celebrating the interface at the heart of the Josh experience.

Denver has been the setting for years of Josh.ai milestones, and hosting CEDIA in our hometown has made those moments especially meaningful.
