Plug in the Base Station
Plug the Base Station into a power outlet using the provided cable and adapter. The Base Station will briefly flash white and then turn blue, which indicates it's ready to be set up. The Base Station must be powered in order to install Josh Edge.

Download and open the Josh App
Login to the Josh App on iOS to set up Josh Edge.
If you don't know your login information or have questions about your Josh system, contact your integrator or reach out to support@josh.ai.

Complete Device Setup in the App
Navigate to Device Setup under settings. Select Josh Edge and follow the steps outlined in the app.

Check the Status LED
Once remote setup is complete, the Base Station's status LED will turn white.

Button Configuration
Josh Edge will auto-discover devices and assign default button actions based on its assigned room. Customize your remote buttons and actions in the Josh App or Josh Web Portal.

Swapping Custom Buttons
The top six buttons of Josh Edge can be swapped out with over 90 icons to choose from. We recommend configuring each button's actions first, then installing the appropriate button icon.

Add Area Sticker
If you are setting up multiple remotes, apply the Area Sticker the back of each Josh Edge.
